In the news item “Border talks 2.0: Block-II area inspection next month”, which appeared in this paper on Thursday (July 27), the inspection scheduled for August 25-26 will be conducted in Deshdomrea. Block II and Deshdomrea, Borduar and Nongwah Mawtamur are different sectors. Error is regretted.

Fake news
Information circulating on social media about vacancy and recruitment in the Civil Defence and Home Guards department is fake, a statement issued here informed. Any recruitment in the department is advertised and widely published in the local dailies and also uploaded in the departmental website, it added.
