Shillong College organises lecture by IAS officer

Shillong, Aug 11: In celebration of National Library Day, the Shillong College Central Library collaborated with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college to host an inspirational lecture by a young IAS officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, Anendya Raajsshree on the theme “A Guiding Light to Crack UPSC Exams” here on Friday.
Raajsshree, who achieved a remarkable all India ranking of 68 in the UPSC examination of 2021, shared valuable insights with the students. She emphasised the importance of instilling discipline in their lives, which would serve as a driving force to sustain diligence in their studies. Additionally, she highlighted that participating in the UPSC exams not only aids in boosting self-confidence but also facilitates comprehensive learning throughout the preparation process.
Currently serving as the Additional Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills, the young IAS officer underlined how joining the UPSC can empower individuals to actively contribute to the administrative system.
