KSU seals house used by drug addicts in Nongstoin

NONGSTOIN, Aug 18: The KSU Nongstoin circle on Friday shut down and sealed a house at Khlieh iew Nongstoin which was allegedly used by drug peddlers.
The KSU led by its general secretary, Comingstar Kharsyntiew inspected Khlieh Iew (Nongstoin market) after receiving several complaints that the market was unsafe after dark and some called it a den of drugs where abandoned houses provide a place for drug dealers.
The union during the inspection found the house which was used by drug peddlers to meet and commit illegal activities, warning them not to create any illegal activities within Nongstoin market, the union put the house under lock and key.
Comingstar Kharsyntiew said that the Syiem of Hima Nongstoin recently has notified that house owners are not allowed to lease to people without proper identification. The KSU also urged the Syiem of Nongstoin to enforce and impose restrictions to all house owners to follow the order pass by the office.
The KSU has aso issue stern warning to all house and shop owners not to lease to the people without identifying their background.
