Rs 5 crore for revamp of link road in city

SHILLONG, Aug 28: The Meghalaya government will spend over around Rs 5.24 crore to improve and strengthen the link road connecting Evelyne ride road to Macabbe Road and Goraline road, Laitumkhrah.
Strengthening work will included metalling and blacktopping, construction of square and cross drains besides other protective work.
The government has targeted a timeframe of 18 months to complete the work from the date of the issue of final work order.
