SHILLONG: The All Meghalaya Contractor & Supplier Association (AMC&SA) has filed a writ petition against the State PWD (Building) Department challenging the Tender Bid Notice of the ABD Sponsored project for supporting human development in the State of Meghalaya.

In a statement issued here on Friday, AMCSA General Secretary B L Nongbri said that the High Court in its hearing held on Friday issued a notice to the PWD Building Department 2013 to show cause why the instant petition file by the All Meghalaya Contractors & Supplier Association should not be admitted or any order or orders should not be passed as deemed fit and proper.

He also said that emergent central executive committee of the AMC&SA has urged all the Contractors/Company’s not to participate in the Tender Bids since the matter was still pending in the High Court.
