SHILLONG, Aug 30: The state government on Wednesday submitted before the High Court of Meghalaya that it is contemplating a request by the Harijan Panchayat Committee to provide some additional space for their relocation, in addition to what has been proposed.
During the hearing, the court lamented that the matter had not been resolved despite negotiations between the two parties.
On the request of the state, the court granted adjournment for four weeks.
