SHILLONG: Kendriya Vidyalaya Happy Valley dominated the medals tally at the 11th Meghalaya Junior & Senior Taekwondo (kyorugi and poomsae) Championship and 4th Open Meghalaya Sub-Junior Taekwondo Championship, held at the JN Sports Complex indoor stadium, Polo on September 14-15.

According to a press release from the Meghalaya Taekwondo Association, there were a total of 200 participants from the Districts Taekwondo Association, Sports Authority of India, Kendriya Vidyalayas Happy Valley, 58 Gorkha Training Centre and St Francis School, Laitkor.

Kendriya Vidyalayas bagged a total of 16 gold medals.
