SHILLONG, Sep 13: A walk-in interview for nine temporary posts called by the Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board (MSPCB) had to be called off on Wednesday after 426 youth lined up for the same leading to chaos.
“There are only nine post and 426 candidates came to register for the interview today and it would have been impossible for the interview board consisting of four persons to examine the candidates. We will devise a plan and conduct the interviews in a day or two,” MSPCB Member Secretary, R Nainamalai said.
