Jowai, Sep 16: One person succumbed to his injuries after the rider lost control of his two wheeler and crashed under a truck on the Shillong-Jowai Highway near Ummulong Beat House, West Jaintia Hills on Saturday.
The deceased identified as Phailang Lamare (24) is an employee of 112 Emergency Response, Ummulong Beat House and a resident of Saphai village in West Jaintia Hills.
