Shefali Shah nominated for International Emmys for ‘Delhi Crime 2’

Shillong, September 27: Actress Shefali Shah is thrilled to receive a nomination in the Best Performance by an Actress category at the upcoming International Emmys for her role in the popular streaming series ‘Delhi Crime 2.’ The unexpected news has left her in a state of disbelief.

As per IANS, expressing her reaction to the nomination, Shefali said, “OMGGGGG I still can’t believe it. I feel incredibly honored to be nominated for the International Emmys alongside such esteemed artists. This nomination holds a special place in my heart because it’s for the character I hold dear – Vartika Chaturvedi – and for my favorite show, ‘Delhi Crime’ season 2. This recognition is a tribute to everyone involved in ‘Delhi Crime’ – Tanuj Chopra, Netflix, and my producers.”

Among the other nominees from India for the International Emmy Awards are Jim Sarbh and Vir Das. This edition features a total of 56 nominees from 20 countries, spanning 14 different categories.

In ‘Delhi Crime,’ Shefali Shah portrays the character of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi. The second season of the show delves into the investigation of a notorious gang involved in robbing elderly individuals in India’s capital city.
