ZSI to observe ‘Swachhta hi Seva’

SHILLONG, Sep 29: Keeping up with the mission of ‘Garbage Free India’, Swachhta hi Seva campaign, Zoological Survey of India (ZSI), Shillong is organising a cleaning drive on October 1 at Polo Market, at 10 am.
According to a statement, the event seeks to engage local community in a collective effort to clean and beautify the surroundings.
ZSI volunteers will lead the cleanup drive, focusing on waste segregation, proper disposal of waste, and spreading awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean environment.
‘Everyone is invited to join hands with ZSI in the endeavour for a healthy society’.
