Disha Patani remembers Sushant Singh Rajput as ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ completes 7 years

Shillong, October 1: Actress Disha Patani fondly recalls the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput as their film ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ marks its seventh anniversary in Hindi cinema.

Released on September 30, 2016, ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ is a biographical sports drama film directed by Neeraj Pandey. The movie delves into the life of cricketing legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni and stars the late Sushant as MS Dhoni, alongside Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, and Anupam Kher.

As per IANS, the film offers a glimpse into Dhoni’s journey from a young age through a series of significant life events.

Disha took to Instagram on Saturday evening to share a clip from the film, accompanied by a heartfelt message: “Grateful for this beautiful journey and my first film in Hindi cinema. Love wholeheartedly and cherish the ones who make you happy, safe, and heard. Life’s too short for regrets! We couldn’t say goodbye, but I hope you’re happy and at peace.”

‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ marked Disha’s debut in Hindi cinema, paving the way for her in a series of successful movies like ‘Kung Fu Yoga,’ ‘Malang,’ ‘Baaghi 2 and 3,’ ‘Radhe,’ and ‘Ek Villain Returns.’

Looking ahead, Disha’s upcoming projects include ‘Yodha,’ ‘Kanguva,’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’
