SHILLONG, Oct 4: The Indian Institute Technology, Guwahati (IIT-G), which was assigned with the task of conducting a study on the safety of Umiam dam has submitted its report to the Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited.
MeECL Managing Director, Sanjay Goyal on Wednesday said the MeECL will examine to report and according act on the recommendations made by IIT-G.
The report is currently being studied by a technical committee of the MeECL, he said.
