Shillong, October 8: Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha, who previously could not be contacted while in Israel to attend the Haifa International Film Festival amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas, has now been located.
As per India Today, she has safely reached the Israeli airport and is preparing to board a flight back to India.
The details of her return, including the specific flights and routes, have not been disclosed for security reasons. It was mentioned that she would be taking connecting flights due to the lack of a direct flight option.
Earlier, a member of her team had reported the unfortunate situation, stating, “Nushrratt has been unfortunately stranded in Israel. She had flown there to attend the Haifa International Film Festival.”
