City college holds moot court competition

SHILLONG, Oct 14: A total of 11 teams locked horns against one another as Shillong Law College organised an intra-class moot court competition on October 7 and 14.
The preliminary stage of the competition was conducted on October 7, while the finals were held on Saturday.
The panel of judges included SP Mahanta, Senior Advocate, High Court of Meghalaya, along with secretary of the alumni association of the college, Md. Farid Qureshi, and guest faculty and advocate, TJ Ahmed.
The first prize was bagged by Krishanu Deb, Md, Sharib and Aryan Raj.
The runners-up were Tanu Yadav, Ananya Singh and Tannu Roy.
The award for the best team was bagged by Nagma Khatoon, Priyanka Sharma and Ngamli Wangsu.
