CM seeks report on Civil Hospitals

By Our Reporter SHILLONG, Oct 18: After on-site inspection and review of the Civil Hospitals in Tura and Jowai last week and this week, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday took a review and asked officers to submit their reports. The CM also instructed the officials to speed up the recruitment process to bridge the manpower gap, and to install a committed power connection and backup for the Civil Hospitals in Jowai, Tura and Shillong, besides calling for installation of public amenities and hygiene in the government hospitals. The officers also highlighted the requirements for equipment, amenities for doctors and staff, and upgrade of services.
