NONGSTOIN, Oct 25: A body was found in Nonbah river, Wahriat Nongstoin, on Wednesday. Accordingly, Nongstoin Police Station was apprised about the matter by the headman of Nongstoin village.
An officer and his team from Nongstoin PS were deputed to inquire into the matter. The police found that the body was highly decomposed.
All legal formalities were observed and the cadaver was shifted to Civil Hospital, Nongstoin, morgue room for post-mortem examination. Till the time of file of this report, none had come forward to identify the body.
