Shillong, Oct 27: Shillong Lajong FC is set to make a return to the I-League after a prolonged absence of half a decade. The club’s management has left no room for ambiguity, expressing their clear ambition to secure a top-three finish in the upcoming tournament and fervently striving for an elusive Indian Super League (ISL) slot.
The highly anticipated I-League competition, featuring 13 formidable teams, is poised to adopt a round-robin format.
These teams will fiercely compete against one another twice, once on their respective home turfs and once away.
Commencing from today, football fans can expect a riveting and action-packed season.
