Coffee table book on 75 young entrepreneurs

SHILLONG, Nov 2: A coffee table book on 75 Young Entrepreneurs, compiled by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Centre for Policy Research and Analysis, IIM Shillong, was released by Secretary, Ministry of DoNER, Chanchal Kumar.
The book is a compilation of inspiring stories and documents the journey of 75 successful young entrepreneurs of Northeast, who are under 40 years of age, and felicitates them for their achievements.
Dr Kalam Centre has taken this initiative to recognise the business prowess of the youths with the aim to further support in scaling their business through management intervention, handholding, mentoring, and various forms of support that IIM Shillong could provide.
During the release event, a few entrepreneurs who have made a place in this collection also shared their journey, challenges they faced, and their concerns in developing an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region. Entrepreneurs present at the event were Dasumarlin Majaw, Smoky Falls Tribe Coffee, Meghalaya; Tage Rita, Naara Aaba, Arunachal Pradesh; Bhaskar Bhuyan, Digibility, Assam; Pallav Gogoi, Bhaskar Homestay, Assam; Bijiyashanti Tongbram, Sanajing Sana Thambal, Manipur; and Pranay Kumar, The Chakras Farm Pvt. Ltd., Sikkim.
