AIDS awareness
K.L. Bajoria College, in association with the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society, is organising an awareness programme entitled ‘AIDS: Evil That Affects Our Youth’ on October 4 at 10 am in the College Auditorium.
Programme
Shillong Socio Cultural Assamese Students’ Association will organise a cultural programme ‘Sarator Abeli’ on October 6 at Deba Kumar Das Memorial Hall, Bishnupur, from 1.30 pm. A drama Proshno along with other cultural items will be organised on the occasion.
Meeting
The Seng Ieng Rasong Sports Social and Cultural Club will hold its general council meeting on October 5 at Shillong Club at 2 pm to discuss on the proposed seminar on environment to be held in October, besides other matters.
Golden jubilee
The year-long Golden Jubilee celebration of the SIAMSINPAWLPI (SSPP), Jt. Hqrs, Shillong, concluded on Wednesday at U Soso Tham Auditorium, Shillong. Cultural items, songs, speech, etc., were organised and a Golden Jubilee Souvenir was also released on the occasion.
