Shillong, November 8: Noida Police have interrogated YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in connection with the alleged use of snake venom at a recent rave party in the city.

As per India Today, Elvish Yadav discreetly presented himself to the police at Sector-20 Police Station to evade media attention, and he may face further questioning on Wednesday.

Last week, Elvish Yadav made headlines when snakes and snake venom were discovered at a rave party in Noida, leading to the arrest of five individuals connected to the alleged use of snake venom at the event. During their interrogation, the arrested individuals reportedly disclosed Elvish Yadav’s involvement, claiming that he supplied snakes for parties he organized.

Simultaneously, the forest department sent five snakes for medical evaluation. The results revealed that one cobra’s venom gland had been removed, while the other four snakes were found to be non-poisonous. Extracting a snake’s venom gland is a punishable offense under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, carrying a potential seven-year prison sentence for the offender. Following the medical examination, the snakes were released into the forest with court approval.

Elvish Yadav has vehemently denied all allegations against him, labeling them as “baseless” and “not even 1 per cent true.” In an Instagram video, the YouTuber asserted his full cooperation with the police and expressed his willingness to take responsibility if any accusation is substantiated. Furthermore, he has threatened to take legal action against BJP MP Maneka Gandhi, who called for his arrest in connection with the case.
