Kaza (HIMACHAL): Reigning champion in the two-wheeler extreme category, CS Santosh crashed out of Raid de Himalaya as the eventful third leg of the rally concluded here on Tuesday.

However, there was no such surprise in the four-wheeler extreme category as Suresh Rana retained his lead at the top, clocking 5 hours 16 minutes and 14 seconds in the third leg.

Last year’s best performer in the adventure category Satish Savera, also bowed out of the event.

Helmut Frauwallner maintains first place with a timing of 5 hours 5 minutes and 37 seconds on two wheels. (IANS)
