Concluding day of the four-day-long Behdeinkhlam festival

Rots are carried by faithful before being immersed on the concluding day of the four-day-long Behdeinkhlam festival organised by the Sein Raij Tuber at a biar (sacred pond) at Tuberkmai Shnong in Jaintia Hills on Sunday. There were 61 rots (colourful paper monuments), sponsored by the Meghalaya HIV/AIDS Control Society. Union Minister of State for Water Resources Development, Vincent H Pala and PHE Minister, Shitlang Pale, were present among various other political leaders and officials on the occasion.
