SHILLONG, Dec 6: Tourism Minister Paul Lyngdoh on Wednesday promised to review the Cherry Blossom and Me’Gong festivals and provide an analysis of attendance figures and revenue earned by the state.
“We are organising the Me’Gong festival from December 6–9 and we will take review of both the festivals after its completion,” Lyngdoh said in response to a question about the footfall at the Cherry Blossom Festival and the advantages the event provided for the state.
“We will provide the media with all the inputs after the festival because the event managers are the same group, and they are currently very busy getting ready for the Me’Gong Festival,” he continued.
