Shillong, Dec 08: Around 50 meritorious students received the 16th Maitshaphrang Award 2023 at a function held at Sohiong Presbyterian Secondary School, on Friday.
KHADC CEM, Pyniaid Sing Syiem along with MDC, Sherborlang L Mawlong presented the awards to the students who have done extremely well in both the board and university examinations. Speaking on the occasion, the CEM said that the meritorious students have brought glory to their parents and schools. He further urged them to engage themselves in extra-curricular activities and sports. The felicitation programme was organised by the KSU Sohiong Circle.
