SHILLONG, Dec 9: In a bid to connect Northeast Indians to the fraternity of literature lovers, the Prabha Khaitan Foundation is flagging off its literary journey in Shillong, wherein, noted author, Preeti Shenoy under the initiative, ‘The Write Circle’, is going to flag off the tour at the Vivanta, on Sunday.
Bestselling author Preeti Shenoy, renowned for Life Is What You Make It and other titles, will kick off the Northeastern states tour, which started with Mizoram and moved through Assam and now is in Meghalaya.
The initiative aims to encourage and widen the reach and readership of English literature on the global map by providing a cross-country platform for notable authors to have an informal and engaging interaction about his/her life and literary works with a discerning audience who love literature.
The Foundation is organising ‘The Write Circle’ event in association with Ehsaas woman of Shillong-Jyoti Agarwal and Pooja Goenka. The event is being supported by Shree Cement Limited as their CSR initiative.
