SHILLONG, Dec 9: Ahead of the Meghalaya Games 2024, the venues in Tura for the upcoming Games were inspected by Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Saturday.
“Inspected venues for the upcoming Meghalaya Games 2024 to assess the requirements to conduct the games in Tura. Today, we visited Montfort School, Indoor Stadium and Rongkhon Swimming pool,” he posted on X (formerly Twitter).
The third edition of the Meghalaya Games in Tura will be unlike the first two editions with a confluence of the modern and traditional tribal games with as many as 3,000 participants.
Earlier, a review meeting was held in Shillong, where discussions related to accommodation and other factors like security, water, electricity, food and materials were assessed.
