SHILLONG: In a sensitive situation, anything to do with fire can be dangerous.The efforts of two youths to collect honey from a beehive in a pine tree after putting fire to it at Dunoon Compound at Zigzag road, near the temporary Assembly at Rilbong has landed them in police custody on Tuesday evening. After noticing smoke emanating from the pine tree, the nearby residents informed police only to know later that it was the handiwork of two youths to collect honey from the beehive in the tree.Police reached on time and picked up the youths. However, after knowing the motive, they were released.
