SHILLONG: The 495th meeting of the University Grants Commission (UGC) held on October 1 has approved the report of the UGC Expert Committee which visited CMJ University on August 1 this year.
The Committee was to assess fulfillment of criteria in terms of programmes, faculty, infrastructural facilities, financial liabilities laid down from time to time by the UGC and other concerned statutory bodies and to look into the violations as reported by the Governor Secretariat, Meghalaya, and other complaints received by the UGC.
