Johannesburg, Dec 19: South Africa all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo and pacer Ottniel Baartman were on Tuesday ruled out of the remainder of the ODI series against India due to injuries.
Phehlukwayo suffered a left-side strain while Baartman was sidelined with a right-side strain.This is a significant blow for the South African team, considering both players are important figures in the South African setup. Phehlukwayo is a versatile all-rounder who can contribute with both bat and ball, while Baartman is a promising young pacer.Western Province fast bowler Beuran Hendricks has been added to the South Africa squad.
