SHILLONG, Dec 21: The burnt remains of a female foetus was found floating on the Wahumkhrah river at Mawlai Iewrynghep.
Police recovered the foetus from the river and shifted it to NEIGRIHMS for post-mortem. A case has been registered at Mawlai PS under Section 318 IPC.
