Shillong, Jan 8: The interlocutor of the proscribed HNLC, Sadon K. Blah on Monday said that the tri-partite peace talks would continue if Meghalaya Government was ready to withdraw all the cases against the leaders of the outfit and agree to the demand of general amnesty to their cadres.
Talking to reporters, Blah said that the outfit has been insisting that there should be political solution to their demands.
“Now the ball is in the government’s court,” he added.

It may be mentioned that the HNLC last week had withdrew from the tripartite peace talks with the Centre and the state government stating that their demand for general amnesty to their cadres was not met.
