SHILLONG: A truck loaded with CGI sheets skidded off the road at Nongthymmai under Nongpoh Block, Ri Bhoi District on Monday. The driver of the vehicle Jaipal Singh (50), who was injured in the accident, was taken to Nongpoh Civil hospital for treatment.
In another incident, local taxi on its way to Khliehrait from Tuber fell into a gorge at Um Salli under Khliehrait Block, Jaintia hills on Sunday.
