SHILLONG: Aggrieved parents of students, who had been admitted into the B.Tech courses at CMJ University, have expressed concern over the negligence of the Education department in relocating their children at the earliest.
According to the parents, the Education department had, in June, directed all the students of CMJ University to submit the relevant documents to the office of the Director of Higher and Technical Education with the application ‘Format for relocating bonafide CMJ students’.
Following this many students admitted into other courses have already been relocated into other universities and institutions, but, till date, the bonafide B.Tech students of CMJ University are yet to be relocated, the concerned parents alleged.
The aggrieved parents have urged Chief Minister Dr. Mukul Sangma and Education Minister Prof. RC Laloo to intervene into the matter and ensure proper relocation of their children at the earliest.
