SHILLONG: The Shillong Cricket Association in its emergent meeting has decided to postpone the Platinum Jubilee T-20 Cricket Tournament scheduled to begin from November 14 to November 25 due to the ongoing examinations.
Teams from West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Manipur and Nagaland besides all the Super Division Teams of the Shillong League and the top teams from different districts of the State are expected to vie for the Rs 50,000 tournament.
The tournament is supported by NEEPCO and NRHM.
The SCA has also set November 12 as the last date for the transfer of players in the Super and First Division for 2013-14 season.
