Agitators target ambulance

SHILLONG: Yet another attack on an ambulance carrying passengers was reported from West Khasi Hills during the just concluded night road blockade carried out by the pro-ILP groups in which one of the occupants sustained minor injuries.
According to a delayed report, on October  30 night, during the period of night road blockade, unidentified  miscreants pelted stones at the  Ambulance (ML-01-6194) belonging to Nongstoin Civil Hospital while it was proceeding from Mawkawah to Nongjri village in West Khasi Hills.
The windshield of the ambulance, which was carrying a patient, was damaged in the attack.
