Office-bearers
The general body meeting of the Gorkha Association, Shillong, elected its executive committee for a term of three years. The members of the executive committee include Uttam Rai (president), Arun Lama and Ramu Chettri (vice presidents), Khageswar Joshi (general secretary), Madhu Sughan Singh Rawat (joint secretary), Kishor Bhattarai Chettri (treasurer), Nirmal Bhandari (games and sports secretary), Anand Sunar (social and cultural secretary) and Sudesh Lamsal (internal auditor), besides 19 other executive members.
