Photo exhibition to be held

SHILLONG: The Dte. of Advertising & Visual Publicity, Govt. of India, in collaboration with Umpling Dorbar authority, Shillong is organising a Photo Exhibition on Bharat Nirman programmes of the Govt. of India for five days from November 7 to 11, 2013 at Umpling Dorbar Hall, Umpling, Shillong.
The exhibition was inaugurated on November 7 by N B Warbah, Rangbah Dong Lumsurok who praised the Govt. of India for organising such exhibitions to make the people aware about the govt. schemes.
Members of the Umpling Dorbar, teachers of St. Rose Secondary School and the local public were also present on the occasion.
The exhibits are on Panchayati Raj, JNNURM, North-East, MGNREGS, Rural Telecommunications, Rural Employment, Rural Water Supply, Rural Roads, Education, Irrigation, Power, Agriculture, Rural Housing, National Rural Health Mission, National Food Security Mission etc.
