Bomb threat

SHILLONG: Police on Thursday picked up one Khajin Haloi (38) for sending an SMS to the Newslive, a Guwahati-based TV channel, on Wednesday saying there will be a bomb blast in Assam chief minister’s meeting in Guwahati. The accused sent the SMS from the mobile number – 9856930587. Haloi, who hails from Nalbari Koriabijoligat in Assam, was picked up from Rynjah. Police also recovered the phone which was used to send the SMS.
