Kohima: The Eastern Naga Students Federation (ENSF) has informed that it would temporarily suspend the phase III agitation responding to the Nagaland government’s request to hold a ‘negotiation meeting’ today in Tuensang.

Official sources said the phase II agitation ended peacefully on Wednesday with government offices across eastern district remaining closed. However, offices of the Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police, medical and fire services functioned normally.

ENSF general secretary Honang M Jessuhu warned if the department fails to respond to their demands, the ferderation would intensify its agitation.

“The delay tactics by the government is totally unwelcome,’ he said. (UNI)
