SHILLONG, March 25: Eminent national as well as local experts have shared their experiences and knowledge about abnormal uterine bleeding during a continuing medical education (CME), which was organised on Saturday.
According to a statement, the CME on ‘Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: A Peep into the Future’ was organised by the FOGSI Endocrinology Committee under the leadership of Additional Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong, Dr. Ananya Das, and the East Zone Coordinator of the Committee, in collaboration with Shillong Obstetrics & Gynecology Society at the State Convention Centre, Shillong.
The event was attended by more than 50 delegates, including NEIGRIHMS Dean Prof. Santa Singh, DHS (Retd.) Dr. Wanswet, and senior gynecologists from Shillong and Guwahati.
NEIGRIHMS Director Prof. (Dr.) Nalin Mehta, who attended the programme as the chief guest, said that though abnormal uterine bleeding concerns women, it consequently affects the entire family.
