Lucy mary Jyrwa was conferred Doctor of Philosophy(PhD) in Zoology by NEHU for her thesis‘effects of osmotic, hyper- ammonia and desiccation stresses on gluconeogenesis in the air breathing catfish, Clarias batrachus’. She completed her thesis under Prof N Saha, Dept of Zoolgy, NEHU.
