HANM leader arrested for threatening JHADC Chief

JOWAI: West Jaintia Hills Police, on Saturday evening, arrested the general secretary of the Hynniewtrep Achik National Movement (HANM), Jaintia Hills Unit, from Nartiang village.

Sources informed that HANM general secretary, Demonmi Dkhar, was arrested based on a complaint lodged by JHADC Chief Executive Member MB Rymbai.

“The CEM had lodged a complaint that Dkhar had threatened him with dire consequences,” police informed.
