New Delhi: Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma, who arrived here on Wednesday night, is likely to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday to discuss prevailing situation of the state. Meghalaya Home Minister Roshan Warjri has already arrived in the national capital. She would also meet some top Home ministry officials and political leaders, sources said. Dr Sangma’s proposed meetings with Congress leaders assume significance in view of the ongoing impasse over ILP in Khasi-Jaintia Hills and rising insurgency in Garo Hills.
