SHILLONG, May 1: The Gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections in the country has hit a record high in April 2024 at Rs 2.10 lakh crore, but the GST collection in Meghalaya has gone down by 2 per cent, reports said on Wednesday.
In the month of April last year, the GST collection in Meghalaya stood at Rs 239 crore but the collection went down to Rs 234 crore in April this year, showing a negative growth of 2 per cent, data said.
