TURA, May 3: The Anti-Corruption Foundation of India has urged the Block Development Officer of Selsella to facilitate the conduct of elections to the Haripur Village Employment Council (VEC) under the block.
In a petition to the BDO, the organisation maintained that the election to the VEC has been long overdue.
It then urged the authority to take steps to start the process for the conduct of elections in a democratic manner in the interests of the job card holders under the VEC.
