SHILLONG, May 6: The Rilbong Sports and Cultural Club in collaboration with the Department of Arts and Culture and ICCR Shillong wil celebrate Rabindra Jayanti to mark the 163rd birth anniversary of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, on the premises of the Club at Rilbong on Wednesday at 4 pm.
As part of the programme a painting competition will be held on Tuesday from 10 am to 12 pm. On Wednesday, a floral tribute will be paid to Tagore at his statue in Brookside Complex, Rilbong, at 8 am.
