Kolkata: Mohammedan Sporting were held to a goalless draw by Dempo in the round 12 encounter of the I-League at the Salt Lake Stadium here on Saturday evening.
Both teams had great chances to score with Mohammedan’s Tolgay Ozbey and Alwyn George of Dempo wasting two golden opportunities each.
It is Mohammedan Sporting’s third straight goalless stalemate at home and this match takes their tally to 13 points from 11 matches.
Dempo, still off to a slow start this season, have one point less from the same number of games. (PTI)
