SHILLONG, June 15: Riatsamthiah Women Social Welfare Organisation on Saturday felicitated Padma Shri Silbi Passah and HSSLC second position holder (Science) Gordon Kupar Nongbri during a programme here.
The programme was attended by North Shillong MLA Adelbert Nongrum and Mawkhar assistant Rangbah Shnong Ransom Sutnga as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
Addressing the gathering, Nongrum urged the youths to remain focussed on the goals that they have set for themselves.
On the occasion, the RSWO also felicitated a few students from the locality who had excelled in this year’s board examinations.
Others who were part of the programme include Riatsamthiah Rangbah Shnong M. Kharkrang, RSWO president B. Diengdoh, as well as the locals.
