SHILLONG, June 24: Mawhati MLA Charles Marngar has moved Power Minister AT Mondal, alleging irregular power supply and electrification in several villages of his constituency.
In a petition to the power minister, Marngar said that the villages of Mawhati, Sonidan, Umtrai and Umsiang are being plagued by irregular power supply.
He further informed the power minister that despite the set-up of electric cables in 2018-19 under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY-1) at Makdoh and Muska Amjong areas, the same have become faulty.
